About the Internship
Siemens Gamesa is offering an internship opportunity within its Wind Power Technology organization. The role combines software development, testing and engineering applications related to wind-energy technology.
The intern will assist with programming activities, software-tool validation, automated reporting and controller validation workflows. The position also involves documentation and collaboration with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and programming functions using MATLAB and Python.
- Support automated reporting and controller validation workflows.
- Test and validate new and existing software tools for functionality and reliability.
- Assist with software development and engineering activities.
- Work with distributed version-control systems such as Git or Mercurial.
- Use agile development tools such as Jira.
- Gain exposure to continuous integration pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins and Artifactory.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with engineering teams in an international environment.
- Support software testing, validation and troubleshooting activities.
