About the Internship
As a Software Engineer Intern at Stripe, you will work on projects across Stripe's technology stack that can directly impact businesses and users.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate as a full member of the engineering team and participate in team discussions and technical decisions.

Minimum Requirements
- Strong fundamental understanding of computer science through pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline.
- Programming experience gained through coursework, side projects or other practical experience.
- Experience from previous internships or other multi-person projects, including open-source contributions, demonstrating the ability to receive and incorporate feedback.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar systems through independent research and collaboration with mentors or subject matter experts.
- Ability to use AI tools to accelerate development while applying critical thinking and professional judgment to review, refine and validate outputs.
Programming & Technical Skills

Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of university education or equivalent work experience.

- Familiarity with navigating and managing work in new codebases containing multiple programming languages.
- Clear written communication skills for explaining technical work to stakeholders and team members.
