The selected candidate will work with accessibility, engineering, product and design teams to identify accessibility issues, recommend improvements and support accessible digital experiences.
- Perform accessibility evaluations of web applications.
- Identify and document accessibility issues.
- Provide actionable recommendations for accessibility improvements.
- Support accessibility remediation efforts.
- Participate in accessibility reviews during the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams.
- Contribute to accessible code fixes using web technologies.
- Help develop accessibility training materials and tools.
- 0–2 years of experience in web accessibility and front-end engineering.
- Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.x guidelines.
- Familiarity with WAI-ARIA specifications.
- Experience testing with assistive technologies such as VoiceOver, JAWS or NVDA.
- Ability to identify and contribute accessible code fixes.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and accessibility best practices.
- Clear communication skills.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical teams.
- Collaborative mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams with team support.
