Job Responsibilities
- Develop, test and maintain responsive websites and landing pages using WordPress and modern page builders such as Elementor.
- Customize WordPress themes, plugins and custom PHP/CSS scripts.
- Assist with backend integrations, database management and SQL/MySQL queries.
- Work with marketing and design teams to convert UI/UX designs into functional web pages.
- Monitor website performance and troubleshoot layout or script-related issues.
- Implement website performance improvements and Core Web Vitals optimizations.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Follow basic on-page SEO best practices.
- Assist with custom web development tasks involving PHP and frameworks such as Laravel.
Candidate Profile
- Strong foundational knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and SQL.
- Familiarity with WordPress CMS architecture, themes and plugins.
- Basic understanding of WordPress page builders such as Elementor.
- Understanding of responsive web design and website performance.
- Basic knowledge or interest in PHP frameworks such as Laravel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and take ownership of development tasks.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
